CJC-1295 with DAC

CJC-1295 with DAC is a synthetic analog of growth hormone releasing hormone (GHRH) engineered for extended half-life. The Drug Affinity Complex modification binds the peptide to albumin in the bloodstream, protecting it from enzymatic degradation and extending its activity to 7–14 days per injection. A single weekly dose provides consistent pituitary stimulation, restoring the GH pulse that declines with age in companion animals.

How it works.

The pituitary gland releases growth hormone in pulses triggered by GHRH from the hypothalamus. Natural GHRH is destroyed within minutes by the enzyme DPP-4. CJC-1295 with DAC is structurally modified with a Drug Affinity Complex that covalently binds to albumin, the most abundant protein in the bloodstream. This binding makes the peptide invisible to DPP-4 and extends its circulating half-life from minutes to 7–14 days.

The result is sustained, physiologically pulsed GH release from the pituitary — not a spike, but a consistent elevation that mirrors the pattern of a younger animal. This sustained elevation drives increased IGF-1 production from the liver, which is the primary downstream mediator of growth hormone's effects on muscle, bone, fat metabolism, and immune function.

Unlike exogenous HGH, which suppresses the pituitary's own production, CJC-1295 with DAC works through the body's existing signaling architecture, preserving the feedback mechanisms that regulate GH within safe physiological ranges.
